Ruth Scaramucci, School Principal
Ruth earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and her MA in Educational Psychology and Graduate Certificates in Educational Assessment and Basic School Administration from Eastern Michigan University. She is a 2019 graduate of the Archdiocese of Detroit’s Principal Formation Institute.
This upcoming school year will be Ruth's 15th year working in the Archdiocese of Detroit. She worked at St. Raphael in Garden City and Our Lady of Victory in Northville, teaching predominantly middle school. Prior to St. Edith, she served as the Curriculum Director and middle school learning center teacher at Our Lady of Victory, in our Family of Parishes. She lives in Livonia with her husband, David, and two children, Luke and Rachel. She is a parishioner of St. Edith and a regular at 8:30 Mass.
