Patti Kelly, Parish Social Worker
Patti Kelly started as the Parish Social Worker at St. Edith in May, 2022. She works with both the Parish and the School to serve the needs of individuals and families. She also presents, and arranges presentations from outside experts on a variety of topics, including mental health, internet safety, caregiving, and parenting. Another key part of her job is to organize diverse, hands-on service activities to provide opportunities to put our faith in to action. She is a proud Wolverine with a BA in Psychology, a Master of Social Work, and a Master of Public Health all from the University of Michigan. She has been a licensed Master Social Worker in the State of Michigan since 1997. She has worked in a variety of clinical and public health positions throughout her career, most recently at the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, and is happy to now be serving the St. Edith Community. Patti and her husband Dennis were married in 1995 and have two adult children, Kristin and John. Their very sassy senior golden retriever, Clancy, rounds out the family. They moved to Novi in 2015 and are members of Church of the Holy Family.
