Wedding Coordinator

Wedding Coordinator (typically assigned in two-person teams) assist the bride, groom and their families through the rehearsal process. They work with the Pastor and the Coordinator of Liturgical Ministries to ensure that the wedding celebrations occur with minimal confusion. The Coordinators also work the day of the wedding, assisting with last-minute details and provide general hospitality to the families.

Funeral Ministry

Parishioners coming together to support the prayer of the grieving family and their guests during Vigil Services and Mass. Vigil ministers lead Scripture Services or a Rosary.  Lectors, ushers, greeters and EME's assist at the Funeral Mass. 

Funeral Ministry - Music

The Resurrection Choir sings during Funeral Masses and Memorial Services at church.  The choir meets once a month for song rehearsal. 

Bereavement Ministry

The Bereavement Ministry is available to all parishioners who have lost a family member. It offers the Funeral Home Vigil which is discussed at the preplanning meeting of the funeral date and time through the Parish Office. The Vigil Service can be a Rosary (or partial) as well as a Scripture Service. Both last a half hour or longer if the family wants some memorial sharing at the end of the service. Also available is GriefShare, a Christian-based 13-week program that is offered to individuals who are seeking understanding and purpose after a death. The goal of the program is to foster healing and comfort in a time of need. For more information, please visit the GriefShare page.
