My name is Donna DelFavero. I am a very happy Catholic convert. The seed was planted when I was very young and went to Mass with neighbors. I was baptized Lutheran, but my family were not church goers, so I went with Baptist friends. I have a daughter, Suzanne and my only grandchild, Bryce, is in Heaven. I am a fairly new member of St. Edith Parish, less than 2 years. I was very active in the Parishes of Holy Family in Novi and St. Priscilla in Livonia. I knew the Good Lord was calling me to St. Edith when I visited for a Mass. I missed hearing Fr. Jim singing when he was at St. Priscilla. I have been becoming active at this wonderful parish. I believe God puts you where He wants you to be. I am so happy to be at a parish with Fr. Jim, and I am so grateful to the people of this Parish who have made me feel so welcome and cared about. I feel truly blessed! |
