Suzy Spencer

My name Suzy Spencer and I have been a member of St. Edith Parish since 2012 when I married my husband Art who has been a parishioner since 1994. I am born and raised Catholic. Art and I are a blended family and have 5 kids and 10 grandkids. I was a member of the Parish Council from 2014 until the pandemic—during that time I served as the Vicariate representative and I worked with Fr. Jim to build the Divorce Care program here at St. Edith.

I retired in 2021 from the University of Michigan Medical School. Since retiring, I visit and help with my grandkids when needed, volunteer at the hospital and spend much more time with friends. I have been given many Blessings in my life and I am grateful to be able to serve.
