Linda Bodnar

I am Linda Bodnar, and I coordinate the lectors here at St. Edith. My husband, John, and I moved here from Northwest Indiana in 1987. All four of our daughters graduated from St. Edith School, having been active participants as altar servers and in CYO sports programs. Both of us are now retired, John from U.S. Steel, I from St. Mary Mercy Hospital. We enjoy travel, dining out, and spending time with family (seven grandchildren) and friends.

I have found the St. Edith community to be welcoming, and it provides a wide variety of services and programs.

Being on the Worship Commission has helped me better understand and appreciate the amount of effort involved in making our parish “work.” There are so many volunteers, many working behind the scenes. The people are the best part of St. Edith – may God continue to bless us all.
